Kyiv Social is the fifth venue following the Plate it Forward ethos to harness the power of food to drive social change for both guests and local community members. This authentic Ukrainian venue introduces home-cooked Ukrainian food to the Sydney community while employing newly arrived refugees from Ukraine.

Our menu continues in the same style of Sydney favourite Colombo Social by celebrating maternally influenced dishes with modern interpretations. Created by Plate it Forward’s team of experts (Julian V. Cincotta, Rockpool, Nomad, Butter; Travis Harvey, Ex- Ozharvest’s Executive Chef; Vincent Dyevoich, Michelin star restaurant Dovetail and 3 NY Star restaurant Colicchio & Sons Ukrainian cultural consultant Nadiia Mohylna; Ukrainian Head Chef Borys Chernyk, Executive Chef at fine dining Ukrainian Restaurant Selfish), the menu is an elevated reimagining of traditional Ukrainian dishes.
